Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Account data: Your email address and a randomly generated anonymous username. We never ask for your real name.

Location data: Your city and state, selected during signup. This is used to show you local posts. You can change it once every 30 days.

Content: Posts and comments you create. Posts automatically expire and are permanently deleted after 30 hours.

Reactions and tips: Reactions you leave on posts and tips you send. Tip transactions are processed by Stripe.

Usage data: Basic Firebase Analytics data such as app opens and errors. No advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Your real name
• Phone number
• Precise GPS location
• Device identifiers for advertising
• Browsing history outside this app
• Social media profiles

3. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account
• To show you posts from your city and state
• To send email notifications when your posts receive reactions or tips (you can ignore these)
• To process tip payments via Stripe
• To detect and remove content that violates our rules
• To prevent abuse and protect other users

4. Post Expiration & Deletion

All posts expire after 30 hours and are permanently hard-deleted from our servers — not just hidden. Deleted posts cannot be recovered. When you delete your account, all your posts, reactions, and data are permanently removed.

5. Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for authentication, database, and hosting. Firebase has its own privacy policy at firebase.google.com.

Stripe: Tip payments are processed by Stripe. When you set up tips or send a tip, you interact directly with Stripe's payment infrastructure. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Resend: We use Resend to send transactional emails (reaction notifications, tip confirmations). Your email address is transmitted to Resend for this purpose only.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

7. Anonymity

Your username is randomly generated and is not linked to your real identity in any public-facing way. Other users see only your username, city, and state. Your email address is never visible to other users.

8. Your Rights

• Access: You can view your profile data in the app at any time.
• Deletion: You can delete your account from the Profile tab. This permanently removes all your data.
• Location change: You can update your city and state once every 30 days.
• Email: Contact us to request a copy of or deletion of any data we hold.

9. Children

RAGEWALLS is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will delete their account immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We'll post the updated date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
